I study different infant sleeping arrangements, associated outcomes for mothers and infants, and how these outcomes are mediated by touch behaviours. For example, how does maternal wellbeing change over time, do mothers who bed-share/co-sleep report better or worse sleep, and are the touch experiences of bed-sharing infants different from those who sleep alone? Dr Sam Roberts is my Lead Supervisor, and I am also supported by
Dr Tina South,
Dr Michael Richter, and
Professor Helen Ball (Durham University).
